An event like this is not possible without amazing volunteers!  We work with your schedule and strengths. A happy volunteer is a successful event. What we want to know is when you want to work, what time works for you? Then, we make it happen. It is all about you – no expectations! 

You have a choice of shifts: work 4 hours, 6 hours, 8 hours, or start to finish!  Just let me know what you need

• 4-hour to 6-hour shifts receive a lunch sandwich and water, and the bonus
• 8-hour shifts receive a lunch sandwich, water, and the buffet dinner, and the bonus
• 10 to 12-hour shifts receive lunch sandwich, water, buffet dinner, and big hugs PLUS, double the bonus 

Sample of the shifts: again, we are flexible and customize your role and responsibilities, start and finish time, to ensure your needs are met

8 am to noon – general set up, golf cart set up (4 volunteers required) - Includes walking -No heavy lifting involved 

8 am to noon: Beverage Cellar and golfer check in (4 volunteers required)

• Seated position - fast paced check in with bottles of wine for the beverage cellar
• Must be able to read list, and find golfers names
• Lists sorted by alphabetical

4 pm to 8 pm: (6 volunteers required)

• Live Auction spotting
• Finance table management
• Prize hand outs
• Clean up!

Dress Code:  Shirts, Bottoms, Shoes Linebackers: wear your linebackers shirts or your 2024 BCLAA golf shirt  Volunteers: please wear your 2024 BCLAA volunteer shirt.  If you don't have your 2024 BCLAA shirt, let us know email chris@gogolfevents.com we will get a shirt organized for you Bottoms: Black is good, tan, white or khaki works as well  Shoes: Good comfortable walking shoes – you will be doing a lot if it! The mandate of the BC Lions Alumni Association is to promote worthwhile causes in British Columbia, assist in the development of BC amateur football, and preserve and enhance the heritage of the BC Lions and the Canadian Football League.
